Mariinsky Theater
The Mariinsky Theater of St. Petersburg opened in 1783 by imperial decree and became known as one of the finest theaters in the world. After the Bolshevik Revolution, it was renamed the Kirov Theater and its original name was later restored after the collapse of the USSR.
Tip: We recommend that you have a dinner either before or after the performance. Miscellaneous snacks with salmon, meat, and caviar can be purchased in the theater for a decent price, but the wine is overpriced - it will cost you about $20 per glass.
