Cheers:
Stick with the basics-lobio, eggplant roulette and dolma-and you
can't go wrong. Ruble prices unaffect− ed by Moscow boom, making
Dioscarius one of the greatest bargains around! Almost as cheap as
Guriya, but thrice the quality. One taste of their sturgeon shash−
lyk or Adzharian khachapuri (with a fried egg in the mid− dle) and
you'll be hooked. The delicious lavash bread comes piping hot,
perfect for sopping up leftover juices.
Jeers:
Wild fluctuations in quality remind us of the Nasdaq. Recent
lulya kebab served blackened on the outside, raw on the inside and
apparently deep fried. Still has deafening live music sung on
weekend evenings. Menu doesn't quite have all the favorites
(meaning dolma); sometimes the backroom mafia feel is a bit too
realis− tic.
