Cheers:
Recently we were pleased with the Noodles with Curry Chicken
plate (180r) and the good value Salmon Steak(250r). Wo−hoh! Talk
about a babe magnet! DCB's both pafosny and relatively cheap,
making this maybe the premier place in Moscow to find ladies out
with their girlfriends. Getting digits easier than fishing with
dynamite. One of Moscow's best places to impress a date w/out
dropping too much coin. Decent, cheap menu that keeps it simple.
Try the chicken and spinach entree (R210), or the pasta bolognese
(R180). Turns into quite a scene on weekends, full of gals from
Moscow's emerging middle class looking for upperly mobile fellows
but sometimes willing to settle for us.
Jeers:
Last time, the waiter eyed us suspiciously after we found a fly
in one of our beers. He suspected us of planting the little bugger
after we polished off half the mug. Imagine the indignity! He took
the beer away and brought out a new one out, but get this: he
refilled it only half way. We had half a beer before the fly landed
and by god, we'll only get half a beer. The manager wasn't about
start handing out freebies. Broccoli was clearly of the frozen
variety. Cheap oil in the Bougeoise salad (R130) struck us as
rather petty.
