Magnetic Moscow
This is an extended tour of Russia’s bustling metropolitan capital, Moscow. It is ideal for travelers with a specific reason to visit Moscow: a business meeting, research, or a concert. The tour’s itinerary is designed in such a way that it will not interfere with your original plans.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Moscow
Once you arrive in Moscow, your guide will take you to the hotel. The evening's program is purposefully light to allow you time to rejuvenate from your long trip. We will show you the famous Vorob'evi Hills, Moscow's lush park that gives a fantastic panoramic view of Moscow at night.
Day 2: The Kremlin and Red Square
After a hearty Russian breakfast, you will proceed to the very center of Moscow: the Red Square and the Kremlin. The moment you step into this area, it will come as no surprise that the Red Square is translated from the phrase Krasnaya Ploshad, which literally means Beautiful Square. You will have the opportunity to go inside the Kremlin, an ancient citadel filled with historic marvels and cultural treasures such as armories and cathedrals. Every building inside it is a part of Russian history that will be narrated by your professional guide.
Day 3: Moscow Subway and Arbat
Today you will tour the ornate Moscow Subway System and Arbat Street. The tour will last only a few hours, giving you the rest of the day free to explore Moscow on your own.
Optional
There are a few optional tours today as well as show tickets for the evening at additional cost. Please visit our Moscow city tours page to see all of our great offers. We recommend the Tretyakov Picture Gallery and a performance by the world-renowned Russian ballet at the Bolshoi Theater.
Day 4: Kitai Gorod and Moscow River
Today you will see Moscow's merchant neighborhood next to the Red Square. Buy souvenirs at the GUM, Moscow's largest department store, or peruse the narrow merchant streets of Moscow's Kitai Gorod (China Town). You will also see the Moskva Reka (Moscow River), an ancient trade route that connected the Vikings to the Greeks.
Day 5: Free Day
The fifth day's itinerary is entirely free, but we will gladly arrange a special tour depending on your interests. We recommend visiting Moscow’s space museum. Please ask your tour manager for available options.
Day 6: Tour Ends
Your last day in Moscow will be bittersweet. After breakfast your personal driver will take you to the airport, where you will leave with lifelong memories of Russia’s most dynamic capital.
