"Loved this Hotel" - Jan 2, 2008
Traveler from Toronto
I picked this hotel based on other Trip Advisor reviews and its
location and was not disappointed. It is steps away from the
Hermitage and within easy walking distance of Nevsky P, interesting
shops, good restaurants, and almost all the major sites in central
St. Petersburg. The adjoining restaurant served a good breakfast
(included in the hotel rate) and I also had a couple of dinners
there (20% discount for hotel guests). The front desk staff were
courteous, helpful, and spoke very good English. The room was
large, comfortable, and included cable tv, and free internet
access. It's a small hotel so good for people traveling on their
own (you're unlikely to run into a bus tour here). I have no
hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting St.
Petersburg.
"Good Hotel, Good Price, Good Location" - Dec 11,
2007
We stayed in December 2007 and had a
Comfort Room. The room was big and well appointed (fridge, safe,
lcd tv) and the bathroom excellent. Despite our room being above
the bar it was quiet. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast
was adequate. Self service but you can have omlettes and crepes.
Location 5 mins walk to Hermitage and Nevsky Prospect. If you want
absolute luxury go and pay 500 euros a night at the Kempinksi a
little way down the road. If you want a comfortable place to rest
in between exploring the city this is a great place to stay
"Awesome experience" - Sep 10, 2007
Traveler from London
I stayed in the Pushka Inn hotel for 3 nights in
September 2007. In one word the experience was SUPER. -the location
can't be beaten, 1 minute from Hermitage and other main sights,
couple of minutes from Nevsky Prospekt -the staff at reception all
speak English very well and are very helpful in giving advice,
information, making bookings etc -I had a one person room on the
ground floor which was small but clean and functional for what I
wanted; the bathroom was in great condition. -breakfast was ok, not
super; the staff in the restaurant area are less forthcoming than
at reception. I would definitely recommend the Pushka Inn to anyone
visiting St Petersburg and will definitely stay there again when I
return. | |
