Forbes.com has just published a list of World's 13 Most Unique
Places to visit and Russia ranks high on it. In fact, nearly a
quarter of destinations on this list is either in Russia or nearby.
"Travel All Russia" being the leading travel agency in the US for
Russian travel services all of these places, of course.
According to Forbes.com Chernobyl power plant and throat singers of
Tuva, Siberia are the places to see in Russia. In our opinion it is
an interesting choice catered to "green" minded travelers. If this
was the determining factor the list is lacking Kamchatka and
Baikal. And if eco travel was not the guiding beacon for this list,
then we would also add Peterhof Palace in St. Petersburg and
Kremlin of Moscow. Then again, it is a matter of opinion and of
personal preference. Another place in the Forbes list that is not
exactly in Russia, but it's included in our Trans-Siberian tours is
the Nadaam Festival, which is a traditional wrestling tournament in
Mongolia.
