Russia Travel industry is booming as millions  - actually over thirty million Russian tourists - are showing up virtually in every corner of our planet. Russia travel industry is still underdeveloped but one could expect dramatic improvements in services, including online ticketing. Most of Russia travel industry has focused on offering tours to Turkey, but this is slowly changes as Russian tourists are finding their way to Thailand, Dominican Republic and other places. If few years ago you could find only visa processing agencies, you can now find full service agencies which sell complete tour packages to Russia. Russia travel industry is growing by the two digit numbers both at home and abroad. Russia travel is a direct consequence of country getting richer. There are more people who can afford to travel abroad and there are more western tourists who want to go to explore Russia.

As Russia travel industry continues to grow, lets hope Russia will integrate closer to the west. By all means, this is unprecedented level of openness and Russia travel industry could be a harbinger of things to come.
