The 212-passenger MS Rostropovich was built in Czechoslovakia in 1980 and was completely refurbished during 2009-2011.

The ship was named after legendary Russian cellist and conductor Mstislav Rostropovich, who is considered one of the greatest cellists of the 20th century. The same could be said about this four-deck ship, that is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious ships on Russian waterways.

MS Rostropovich features different cabin categories to satisfy each taste and budget. They range from comfortable standard twin or double cabins to top-range suites with spacious balconies and living area.

Onboard facilities include two elegant restaurants serving the finest dishes of Russian and international cuisine, a cozy lounge with Wi-Fi access (fees apply) ideal for evening rest, a conference hall for onboard lectures and entertainment, a gym for those who always try to keep fit, a comfortable solarium providing magnificent views of Russian countryside, a hair salon, medical room & elevator serving all decks.
