Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moscow

Welcome to the legendary capital of Russia - Moscow! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can relax in your cozy room, dine in one of the nearby restaurants or start exploring the charming city center on your own.

No meals included.

Day 2: Moscow Sightseeing Tour & Visit to the Kremlin

After breakfast you meet your guide and go on a full-day Moscow city tour. During the tour you see the famous Cathedral of Christ the Savior and go underground to explore the outstanding work of the Soviet architecture - the Moscow Metro.

After lunch you go inside one of the most outstanding Moscow icons and the symbol of Russian power - the Kremlin.

In the evening after dinner you return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Russian Winter Experience in Kolomenskoe

Following breakfast you check out from the hotel. Your guide and driver take you to Kolomenskoe, a former Royal estate located in the southern part of Moscow, to experience real Russian winter.

After lunch in a city restaurant you take a walk through the famous merchant area of Arbat Street where you have time for shopping.

You are then transferred to the railway station where you board the luxurious Imperial Russia train and start your voyage.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 4: St. Petersburg City Tour & Trip to Pushkin

In the morning your train arrives in the famous northern capital of Russia - St. Petersburg often called "the Venice of the North". Your guide and driver meet you at the train station and take you for breakfast to a local restaurant.

You then go on an amazing panoramic city tour around the most outstanding attractions of St. Petersburg and enter the Kazan Cathedral. Then you explore the Peter and Paul Fortress - a burial place of almost all the Russian emperors and empresses from Peter the Great to Nicholas II and his family, and afterwards visit the gorgeous St. Isaac's Cathedral.

As a highlight of the day you are taken to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) to explore the brilliant Catherine's Palace that is a striking example of baroque architecture gifted by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine I. Here you have lunch and go on a tour of the Tsarskoye Selo.

After the tour you return to St, Petersburg and visit the Petrovskaya Aquatoria - a unique exhibition devoted to the history of St. Petersburg and the emergence of the Russian fleet.

You then have dinner and have a night tour of St. Petersburg after which you re-board your train and continue your journey towards Petrozavodsk.

Day 5: Exploring Petrozavodsk

Today you reach Petrozavodsk - the capital city of the strikingly beautiful region of Russia, the Republic of Karelia.

After breakfast you go on a tour of the historical village Kinerma noted as one of the most beautiful Russian villages. Dating back to 1563, only 5 people live in the village today. It is made up of 17 houses, 10 of which are more than 100 years old and are architectural landmarks.

After lunch you go on a city tour of Petrozavodsk must-sees and visit the Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia. You then attend a master class.

After the tour you return to your train and continue traveling towards Murmansk. Dinner and a traditional vodka tasting await you on board.

Day 6: New Years in Murmansk

Following breakfast on board your train arrives in Murmansk - the world's biggest Arctic city. Your driver meets you at the train station and takes you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

After lunch you go on a sightseeing tour of Murmansk highlights, including the famous icebreaker "Lenin". This decommissioned Soviet nuclear-powered icebreaker was launched in 1957 to carve its way to the North Pole.

You then return to your hotel and have time to prepare for the evening New Year Celebration with dinner and an entertainment program.

Day 7: Tour to Russia Grandfather Frost House

After late breakfast you are invited to go on a tour of a very special place - the Grandfather Frost House. Here you can take a photo with the Russian Santa, whose name is Ded Moroz, enjoy dog sledding, games, activities and lunch with Grandfather Frost.

You then have dinner and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Train to Vologda

Day 9: Touring Vologda

Today you have breakfast and lunch on board and arrive in Vologda - a beautiful historic city in Northwest Russia.

Upon arrival you go on a New Year City Tour and visit the city's main attraction - the Vologda Kremlin. This well-preserved historical and architectural complex located in the central part of Vologda was founded as a fortress in 1567. During the tour you explore the main highlights of the Kremlin and its territory. Afterwards you go on a master class.

In the evening you return on board your train and continue traveling to Moscow.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10: Departure

This is the final day of your amazing tour. In the morning you arrive in Moscow. Your driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
