MS Alexander Pushkin

Few names mean romance to Russians as much as the name Alexander Pushkin. Naturally, it should adorn one of the country’s most romantic ships. The Maxim Gorky-class (Type Q-040) MS Alexander Pushkin, built by Austrian shipwrights in 1974 for use as a passenger ship in Soviet waters, remains one of the top offerings for sailing the Volga River. State-of-the-art navigation and engines that exceed 22 kilometers per hour (about 15 mph) combine with a fully refurbished interior to create four-star comfort on four decks. A restaurant, three bars, a souvenir store, conference hall, medical room, and lounge share the air conditioned space with the cabins, and a solarium offers plenty of room to tan while the river shores float past. All cabins feature large scenic windows that allow the morning daylight to enter, radio for entertainment, and private facilities.

Thanks for making this long trip very enjoyable. Everything was very organized and in place. I like Moscow and Ludmilla the best. I might have to go back there. Again thanks
