What is Custom Trans-Siberian Tours?
You can pick any start date and we will build your itinerary. We will customize it as you wish. The main advantage of custom tours is that it gives you the maximum flexibility. The main disadvantage is that you are traveling in your own company, without onboard program that you would find in a luxury Trans-Siberian tour.

Trains
On a custom Trans Siberian tour, you will be traveling on a regular overnight train, such as "Rossiya". Cabin classes are SV (1st), Kupe (2nd) and Platzcart (3rd). There are no showers on regular overnight trains, unlike on luxury trains, but the program will be design in a way so you make stops along the Trans-Siberian route every couple of days and rest at a hotel.

Land program
Custom tours include on-land guided programs as per itinerary.

Meals
On-board restaurant offers traditional Russian meals. In-cabin meal delivery is available in first class cabins.

Please note, when you book a custom program from Russia to China, you must realize that Ulan-Baator Beijng portion of your trip may need to be replaced with flight. The reason? There is only one rail track between Ulan-Baator and Beijing, so train runs each way only every other day. With thousands of travelers willing to take this route each summer and with the Mongolian railway company selling tickets only three days before actual departure, securing tickets is a difficult task. We have always done it well thanks to a reliabile partner in Mongolia, but we must inform you that we had one failure when we could not get the tickets. When this happened, we arranged air tickets.
