Arrival in Moscow

Welcome to the beautiful Russian capital - Moscow! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. There is nothing planned for the rest of the day, so feel free to rest in your comfortable room, check out one of the nearby restaurants or start exploring the amazing city center on your own.

Moscow City Tour & Bolshoi Theater Tour

After breakfast, you set off on a panoramic Moscow city tour with a private guide and driver. Today you have a chance to take in one of the best city views at Sparrow Hills and see the grand building of Moscow State University, the highest of seven Stalinist skyscrapers in Moscow. You also step by the spectacular Cathedral of Christ the Savior and learn the story of its destruction and reconstruction.

After a short break for lunch, you have a unique 1.5-hour guided tour* of the Bolshoi Theater, covering both its history and architecture. Did you know that Bolshoi's ballet and opera is one of the oldest and most famous theater companies in the world? During the tour, you enter all the main parts of the historic building, including the Imperial the Beethoven auditoriums. After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Exploring the Kremlin & Bolshoi Theater Evening Show

This morning you have breakfast and go to explore one of the most outstanding Moscow gems, the Kremlin, and the heart of the city, the Red Square. Tou meet your guide at the hotel's lobby and walk to the Kremlin territory where you have a chance to explore the gems hidden behind the Kremlin walls such as the Cathedral Square and the Assumption and Annunciation cathedrals. Then you proceed to the famous Armoury Chamber, housing a unique collection of crown jewels, stunning coronation finery, hand-forged armor and weapons, royal carriages and sleighs, and world-famous Faberge eggs.

After a short coffee break, you enjoy a walk through the beautiful Red Square, go inside the picturesque St. Basil's Cathedral, and explore the famous GUM department store. After the tour, you go back to your hotel.

As a highlight of your day, in the evening, you are invited to the show in iconic Moscow's Bolshoi Theater. Transfers are included.

Visiting the Tchaikovsky House Museum in Klin

Next morning after breakfast, you check out from your Moscow hotel and go on an exciting tour, devoted to the life and art of the remarkable Russian composer, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, whose works are part of the world's most popular classical repertoire.

Together with your guide and driver, you go to the charming town of Klin, located 85 km (53 mi) northwest of Moscow. Upon arrival, you pay a guided visit* to the Tchaikovsky House-Museum. In this very building, Tchaikovsky lived in 1892, one year before he passed away. There he created his last major work, the 6th Symphony. You learn many interesting facts about Tchaikovsky's private life, see the composer's piano, visit the places where he lived and wrote his music.

After exploring the house, you explore the architectural sights of the city of Klin, including the 16th-century church of the Dormition cloister as well as the 18th century baroque Resurrection cathedral before heading back to Moscow.

Upon arrival to Moscow, you are transferred to the train station where you board the modern high-speed Sapsan train that takes you to the unforgettable second capital of Russia, St. Petersburg, in comfort and safety in just 4 hours. Upon arrival, you are met at the train station by your driver and taken to your centrally located hotel for overnight.

Panoramic Theater Tour & Evening Concert at the Mariinsky Concert Hall

This day is dedicated to the theater gems of St. Petersburg. After breakfast at the hotel, you meet your guide in the lobby and go on an amazing panoramic city tour. Your first stop for today is the Sheremetev Palace which was the center of St. Petersburg's aristocratic life a long time ago. At the time, the palace boasted not only extensive lands but also its own theater where the famous troupe and orchestra performed.

Next on your list is an entrance to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, you have a tour of the beautiful and recognizable church which stands where Russia's great emperor Alexander II was mortally wounded. You then walk to the Arts Square and explore its beautiful ensemble including the Mikhailovsky Palace and the Mikhailovsky Theater. Then continue to Palace Square, the Hermitage Museum, and the Hermitage Theater which was the main platform for court performances.

During the tour, you also view the Peter and Paul Fortress - a burial place of almost all the Russian emperors and empresses from Peter the Great to Nicholas II and his family. Then you go to the Museum of Political History of Russia* hosted in Kschessinska Mansion where you visit an exposition dedicated to the outstanding ballerina who left a bright mark in the history of Russian art.

Other sights you see today include the breathtaking St. Isaac's Cathedral, dominating the St. Petersburg skyline and offering outstanding city views, the historic Mariinsky Theatre of opera and ballet, and Theater Square with a monument, dedicated to Mikhail Glinka.

After the tour, you return to your hotel. In the evening, you are invited to a wonderful show* at the Mariinsky Concert Hall. Transfers are included.

Tour of the Hermitage Museum

Next morning, you meet your guide and go to the renowned Hermitage Museum to explore its unique collection of world art. During the tour, you visit the halls of the Winter Palace to see the main collection of the Hermitage, including the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough.

After that, you cross the Palace Square to enter the General Staff Building, housing Hermitage's superb collection of Modern European Art, primarily consisting of the world-famous French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Trip to Peterhof & Mariinsky Performance

Today is dedicated to outstanding Peterhof. After breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore this former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture.

During the tour, you visit the famous Bath Cottage and take a walk in the beautiful Lower Park, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes.

After the tour, you return to your hotel. In the evening, you are invited to the show* at the legendary Mariinsky Theater. Transfers are included.

Departure from St. Petersburg

This is the final day of your amazing Moscow - St. Petersburg adventure. In the morning you have breakfast, check out from your hotel and your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
