Overall, we really enjoyed the trip!
Let me make a few comments: it was raining hard when we arrived. The driver was right there waiting and grabbed some luggage. He did not speak English, so hand motions worked. He was soaked by the time he got the car, but did not say a word…very nice.
The Russian guide for Moscow was great! She knew a lot, was very friendly, extremely helpful and enjoyable to talk to about our two countries. A+ for her!
The guide to Vladimir was good. He certainly knew the area and spoke with a keen knowledge of it. We enjoyed talking to him and joking around. That said he was very nice with little things. He took us to a Department store for some dry shoes for my wife and helped us shop for some goodies. B+ for him.
Everything in Moscow was very, very interesting. St Basils, GUM, monuments, Kremlin, Red Square, all very impressive.
Of course, I loved the trip to Monino, although my wife was concerned I was asking and wanting to see things they didn’t want to show. A+ for that segment.
We enjoyed the trip to Vladimir, but it is a long way. Coming back to Moscow took 4+ hours with the traffic.
The Hotel was fantastic and wanted for nothing in taking care of our needs and courtesy. A++++++
It really was a very worthwhile trip and one we shall always remember. The people we encountered were great and it was a pleasure to meet them. We would suggest this trip to any one. Thank you for everything and we hope to travel with you again.
