We've experienced a lot on our MS Rostropovich River Cruise. To name a few, people, culture, arts, history, weather, lakes, canals, food, languages. We still talk about the trip to people we know and even just ourselves.
Due to the storm, we missed Goritsi and Uglich. What a pity! We were compensated for a free Moscow night and Metro ride. But I wish to have spent more time close enough to Russian country side. That night the ship went through the storm and arrived in Kizhi safely next morning. Great job! By the way the crew of the ship was a great team.
The tour guides in St. Petersburg and Moscow were knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoy the small group because we can reach out to our guides easily and know each other very well.
We had a fantastic trip. Thank you!
