We have returned to Sydney and for four days, still trying to get over the jet lag. I think as we are getting older, it is getting harder!
We had a wonderful trip. What a terrific package your team put together. Every little detail worked like clockwork. There was no time when we were left without knowing our next move. Free time was adequate, and our guides were so knowledgable. The trains were varied, we were surprised at each leg, that each train offered different things, sometimes a restaurant car, sometimes meal deliveries, sometimes hot cabbage and mince buns, pizza, cinnamon buns delivered to the cabin, or sometimes none!
A couple of times the timetables of the trains were not so "user friendly", but I realise the logistics of organising our arrivals and tours with guides would be extremely difficult. We enjoyed all our stops, the hotels were all well located to city centres, with easy walks to tourist venues. Drivers were courteous, careful and very capable. Although our driver in Perm (female) had shoes on about 15cm high, with which she found it difficult to drive. We also felt unsafe when she drove, having very little regard to any sort of road safety.
But in our four weeks, there were no hiccups and everything went very smoothly, from train pickup and dropoff, airport transfers, on-time knowledgable guides and safe drivers (mostly), I would thoroughly recommend your company to anyone contemplating a comprehensive tour along the TSR.
Thank you again, we now have wonderful memories, we have learnt much about Russia (about which I didn't know) and plenty of photos!
