I cannot begin to applaud your tour of the TWO CAPITALS in Russia. It was 5 star all the way.
We were met at the airport even though our luggage was lost and we had to fill out paperwork. The driver took us right to the St. Regis which was a gorgeous 5-star hotel Smack Dab in the center of Moscow.
The city was clean, safe and easy to get around in. We were right across from the KGB building Haha. What was so great was the free time you gave us at both ends.
The tour guide in Moscow was superlative. She kept us informed and on-time and we all wanted her to go to St. Petersburg with us. We loved the way she used her red umbrella to move people out of the way so that our tour group could get a better view. We were group #2 and we all agreed we were the better of the two groups. We really bonded and even consider getting a reunion together.
St. Petersburg was entirely different! My husband says it is busier than Times Square. Lots of people, gorgeous architecture, restaurants, and again, a 5-star hotel. We couldn't believe the line going into the palace. We breezed in. It was like that all throughout the tour.
One piece of advice...bring rain gear because there was a rainstorm every day. Luckily we had umbrellas. Not a long rain but we were prepared.
The train excursion was lovely. We were glad to see some of the countryside.
I have been telling everyone about the tour and how organized it was. Wow! We would go back again tomorrow if we could.
You packed a lot in this tour. We got a big bang for our buck.
In fact we took a 5 star cruise to Alaska last year and it cost three times more.
Also thanks for helping me get the Bolshivic ballet tickets. They were amazing!
Thanks again and I'm giving everyone your information because you sure made this trip one we will never forget!
